Author: Tim Licitra (timlicitra2002@yahoo.com) I can't wait - I've always considered Master and The Musician to be the best album ever published. If Phantasmagorical is carrying the name "Master and The Musician" in it, I don't know how it would be anything BUT excellent! Another review to follow after I get my copy!

Author: Mark Fisher (msrsfisher@msn.com) I have a pre-release copy of this project that Philly gave me. I absolutely love it! When I found out is was going to be subtitled "Master and the Musician II", I thought that it was quite fitting. There is a ton of great music in this release, and you will NOT be disappointed with it. Buy it now!

Author: Jerry Akin (jrakin@yahoo.com) Why are people reviewing an album they haven't heard yet? Odd. Anyway, this album was scheduled for a release date of 8/12, but was apparently moved to 8/19. Well, the bookstore in my area didn't get the memo because when I went in there on 8/12, they had it on the shelves. The album starts off with what is becoming a Keaggy trademark, a backwards acoustic riff. Love it. It goes right into a very catchy and lovely acoustic slide piece slightly reminiscent of George Harrisons unplugged version of My Sweet Lord. The time signature changes in the song, but manages not to cause an uncomfortable "jerk" in the rythm. Track 4 is another one of my favorites titled "The Wind and the Beat" (clever name, by the way). It is an upbeat piece that picks up as it goes, and has a bluesy swing to it. Caffeinated Desert is warm and beautiful. My favorite track on the album is probably "Oh Boy". It starts off very avant garde as apparently Phil and his fellow musicians are having some free form fun. After hypnotizing the listener for a minute or two, they just drop into this wonderfully fun romp, and it is the most upbeat song on the album. Father and Son is a treat as is his closer, Forever to Joy. It is no wonder he titled this Phantasmagorical: Master and the Musician 2. It captures the imagination of Keaggy and his fellow musicians, and creates a dream world for the listener. My wife and I have been playing this cd constantly in our living room, and it has made a precious soundtrack for our 1 year old son as he plays on the floor while we watch. I would love to go into detail about how great every song is, but I don't want to spoil it for you. Just check it out for yourself. You will be glad.

Author: Stephen Johnson (fearlesst@hotmail.com) I loved this CD so much I had to share it with my new pastor. I found out he also is a Phill Keaggy fan. Really cool.
